FOX x DR Jacquard Grand Herringbone Blanket

Produced as part of a collaboration between Fox Brothers and Division Road, the Journey of Style Jacquard Grand Herringbone Blanket is a limited-edition piece created for the home.

The blanket is made from a custom blanket-loomed cloth designed exclusively for Division Road, woven as a heavyweight 20oz jacquard grand herringbone using worsted merino wool yarn. The enlarged herringbone pattern is produced on a three-dimensional jacquard loom, giving the surface depth, texture and a sense of scale. At 20oz, the cloth has a noticeable weight and presence without feeling heavy or rigid.

A palette directed by Division Road combines vintage white, chestnut, tan and ebony, with a restrained copper accent running through the design. The result is a composed yet expressive pattern, drawing on English heritage and landscape without overt decoration. The design reflects Division Road’s considered approach to colour and pattern, interpreted through a large-scale woven structure.

Finished with a blanket-stitched rolled edge and coordinated ebony thread, the blanket has a considered, crafted feel. The cloth has a dense, reassuring handle, with a soft surface that settles naturally when folded or draped. Produced in a strictly limited allocation of six pieces for The Merchant Fox, it is intended as a practical and considered piece, sized to work equally well as a generous throw or across the bed, and made to be used and lived with rather than kept aside.
